Macbeth finally realizes the witches were not acting in his best interests.
When he learns Macduff was not born from woman, Macbeth says, "accursed be the tongue that that tells me so, For it hath cowed my better part." He realizes he has been tricked and that "these juggling fiends" should not be believed, for they speak with "a double sense," or using verbal tricks.
