The growth of suburbs in the United States following World War II caused

A.) a significant demographic shift in Congress.

B.) a growth in radical feminism on college campuses

C.) massive governmental expenditures on roads programs.

D.) a greater connection in people’s extended families.

Truthfully, I don’t think any of these answers are right and the answer should have to do with an increasing population, but that’s not one of the answers and I have no idea what else it could be. Any help is appreciated

The correct answer should be C.) massive governmental expenditures on roads programs.

When the suburbs started spreading the people started moving away from cities. This required numerous new roads to be built in order to connect these suburban areas to the cities where the middle class that could afford to live in the suburbs had to go to work in their companies. This is how the idea of carpooling also grew.
