A young infant may see a bird like an airplane if the
infant uses:
“Perceptual categorization”
Perceptual categorization is when something is directly
categorized to be a part of a group when similar characteristics are observed.
So in this case since the bird was flying, then the infant automatically
recognizes it as a plane.
