After many such discussions, you realize that although your roommate indicates that he is Jewish, he really does not believe, practice, or adhere to much of Judaism. it could be what they were raised knowing and learning, just because they are part of a specific religion does not neccessarily mean that they practice it. thats like being a christian and being part of the lgbtq+
