60 less than twice the measure of the smaller angle, what is the measure of each
angle?

X + Y = 180°

x = larger angle

y = smaller angle

x = 2y - 60

x + y = 180

x = 180 - y

2y - 60 = 180 - y

2y - 60 -180 + y

3y = 240

y = 80°

x+y = 180

x+80° = 180°

x = 100°
