Your friend wants to lose weight around the belly. Your friend is planning to do crunches every day to lose the weight, but is not planning on doing any other exercises. The best way to lose weight is to cut back on eating. (As in don't decide on eating 2-3 deserts or plates) Do 15-25 sit-ups each day. Crunches also help, but very little. Even walking or jogging helps burn calories. But being on your period makes you eat more, and makes your metabolism slower. Hope this helps your friend:)

Since my friend is only planning to regularly perform crunches which is  abdominal exercises, which means  that my friend strategy will not be effective.

In order to achieve her result of losing the weight around her stomach  she should not only perform crunches exercise but  she should as well do the following in order for her strategy to be effective.

Reduce her sugar intake

•Consume proteinous food

•Consume lesser carbohydrates

•Eat food that are rich in fiber etc.
