La Santa María is one of Christopher's ships. In fact this is the ship he was captain of that ship (he sailed on that ship with his explorers.) The Niña and the Pinta were small caravels ( two tinier ships) that had his more of Columbus's explorers. They were looking for the end of the earth/waters where they thought they would fall off of. In August 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. October 12th they sighted land, And set their feet upon new sand. It turned out that the earth was round, found out Columbus.
