In the book Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, two characters by the name Mr. and Mrs. Dursley did everything they could to appear normal. Mr. and Mrs. Dursley didn't get "involved in anything strange and mysterious, because they didn't hold with such nonsense" (Roowling, pg 1).
