there is a metal ball and ring set that is specially made so that at room temperature at the ball fits through the ring However when the ball is heated it gets stuck and cannot fit through anymore .why​

Answer: Most objects expand when they take in heat for example get a metal sphere and put it next to a blow torch it would expand just enough to not fit in the ring anymore, but when it cools down it will go back to its original size releasing the energy
