You solve them like any other algebra problem! 
Ex; 
3x > 9

You are allowed to divide, multiple, add and subtract numbers. There is one HUGE thing that can get in your way. The > sign may change if you divide/multiply. That will only be when the number you are dividing / multiplying by is a negative number.

So.
3x > 9

x > 3

Meaning x has to be greater than 3.


Just think of the inequality sign as an equal sign when you are working with a problem. 

So problems like: 
3x > 9 
Become
3x = 9

Just don't forget the negative rule, or forget to put your inequality sign back!
