Boo Radley is a neighbor who lives on the same street as the Finch family. Boo's defining characteristic is his literal and symbolic invisibility.

A recluse who only comes out at night, Boo becomes a receptacle for the town's fears and superstitions. According to Jem, Boo is approximately six-and-a-half feet tall with bloodstained hands from eating raw squirrels and cats.

Jem also mentions that Boo has unsettling, yellow eyes and a long, jagged scar across his face. Jem then tells Scout and Dill that Boo also has rotten, yellow teeth and drools often.

Boo Radley has Autism Spectrum Disorder, Boo demonstrates an intense emotional connection in his protectiveness toward Scout and Jem, even to the point of risking his life to save theirs.
