Which statement best describes the relationship between prophase and telophase?

A. The spindle fibers bring the chromosomes together in prophase then apart in telophase.

B. The spindle fibers pull the chromosomes apart in prophase then bring them together in telophase.

C. The nuclear membrane forms in prophase and breaks down in telophase.

D. The nuclear membrane forms in telophase and breaks down in prophase.

Respuesta :

I think the answer might be C , but I’m not sure. Telophase is the final stage of mitosis in which the daughter chromosomes move towards opposite end of the nuclear spindle while prophase is the first stage of mitosis during which chromatin condenses to form the chromosomes. I hope this helps

Answer:

D. The nuclear membrane forms in telophase and breaks down in prophase.

Explanation:

In prophase, the chromosomes are composed of two chromatids. In telophase, the chromosomes have are single-stranded and there are two identical daughter cells. The cells are about half the size of the prophase cell."In Prophase the actual nuclear membrane is gone; Within telophase the nuclear membrane also are-forms. "

hope this helps (i did the quiz the answer is d, please give brianliest if you can.) btw sorry that this is late, here is a hug.༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ
