Hello, Can you please tell me about academic essay writing and how i can write a creative one (tell me everything you know about writing an essay) and will help me at writing and research course

Here is the list I go through when im writing an essay:

•Decide on your topic.

•Prepare an outline or diagram of your ideas.

•Write your thesis statement.

•Write the body. Write the main points. Write the subpoints. ...

•Write the introduction.

•Write the conclusion.

•Add the finishing touches.

The first thing you should know it's that you should divide it in 3 parts: introduction, body paragraphs(based on how many arguments you wanna use) and conclusion.

The introduction part should be the general part, where you only write the basics about your topic without giving your opinion or anything. So it should be short and clear. So the reader k ows what will you be talking about down below and what to expect. Also some pf the basic terms that are used (especially in the title) should be explained. Also I would recommend that here you write your questions in which you will answer in the paragraphs, and write them in the same order as you'll answer them. That way if the reader is interested in a particular part of the topic he can skip to that part particular paragraph. You'll get some benefits here too. If you have a certain word number use and you need to fill it this will help you, or if you don't want to skip from one thing to another and try to make the questions clear and a little bit open so you can write freely about them. DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF.

As for the second part, here you should start writing your opinions and arguments(based on the questions you asked before-if you used that method). Firstly you give your opinion about that question, and then start stating arguments. Because if you only say your opinion and give no arguments that's useless. You can never say something without backing it up with arguments.

I'll give you an example: If I say use the question method on essays but don't tell you why you should use it...Will it be clear to you why and how you should use it? I DON'T THINK SO.... And then would you use it? I THINK NOT.

As for dividing this part into paragraphs, its your choice, I'd recommend you to do it thought. That way your essay will look more eye pleasing and it won't have all the arguments just put in a place together. But it's definitely the persons style. This should be the longest part of your essay. Also as soon as you use a word or an expression that could have different meanings or that people could interpret it in different ways, you explain the exact way that you meant.

As for the last part, based on all your opinions and arguments, form your conclusion. This shouldn't bee that long. Here you can tell your full opinion. No arguments only your personal thoughts about all of that. But still try to be subjective, you're not writing a diary so...of course based on the topic... but for most of the time try to be objective. That way the essay will turn out better and the readers will enjoy it. The reader may have different thoughts about the topic, but that way, he or she will start seeing your point of view, and maybe even change their mind and agree with you.

P.S. I hope this helps.... Good luck!
