"A" has acceptance noted in that the speaker is "contented."' Content has the idea of no need for anything else, satisfied. 

"B" speaking of adapting to the situation. Again, the idea of accepting the situation.

"C" shows the speaker making the most of the situation. The idea of making it work, accepting the situation.

"D" speaks of submission which does not have the idea of acceptance, but obedience.
