Explanation:
As the waves from the oceans hit the cliff, the sheer force of the waves curve out pieces of rock from the cliff. This erosion is particularly faster at the bottom of the cliff where most of the wave hits the cliff to form a cave-like structures and cliff arches. The overhanging part of the cliff breaks down too, due to its weight, after some time. The broken rock pieces are then used as ‘hammering rams’ by the ocean waves to carve out even more of the cliff. After many years of bombardments of the rocks and the cliff face, turns the large rocks into fine sand.
