The Ice Age is defined as a time with large snow storm and a colder climate. This led to a more hunter-gatherer life-style, as early humans hunted mammoths and other animals in the area for a more meat-diet meals. However, with the warming of the world, animals that lived more in colder-climates soon was replaced by warmer climates, resulting in new game, as well as suitable farmlands and wild-areas that had edible plant species.
So because of the wide climate change, the humans went from hunter-gathering habits to farming, and later taming animals.
