In Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis, when Mr. Samsa first sees Gregor transformed into an insect, he makes a fist at him as if to punch him. What does this action show about Mr. Samsa's attitude toward his son?

Respuesta :

It shows that he and Gregor don’t get along.  The fact that Gregor was forced into job he didn’t due to his father’s failure at being a provider also caused a divide between.them. All the father cares about is that Gregor bring money into the family.  When he became an insect they grew further apart.
