Macbeth is a tragedy by William Shakespeare that's about a Scottish general named Macbeth who receives a prophecy from 3 witches that he will one day become King of Scotland. Already ambitious, his wife talks him into killing the current king, Duncan, and Macbeth takes the throne for himself. He then begins to kill more people out of guilt and paranoia, becoming a tyrannical ruler.
